Skate Girls of Kabul inspire skateboarding in Toronto

Award-winning British photographer Jessica Fulford-Dobson travelled to Afghanistan in the summer of 2013 and the summer of 2014 to document young girls participating in a unique skate program, and her work is now being exhibited at the Aga Khan Museum in Toronto. Chill was on hand during the unveiling to help teach local area youth how to skateboard with our mobile skate park.

Over the past year, world-renowned artist, Jeff Koons, collaborated with Burton Snowboards founder Jake Burton, to design a one-of-a-kind snowboard. The Philosopher Board was born out of this incredible partnership and a limited run of 50 boards were produced.
