Alex Bornstein | Executive Director
Alex is originally from West Hartford, CT and currently lives in Shelburne, VT. Alex has done his best to find interesting jobs throughout his non-profit career, from managing logistics for a large fire district in Oregon to facilitating humanitarian aid in sixty countries to leading Chill. Alex has a B.S. in Organizational Leadership from Charter Oak State College. When Alex isn’t road cycling he’s snowboarding at Bolton Valley or Stowe. Alex’s first cassette tape? The Cure – The Head on the Door.
jeff morton | VP of Marketing & Development
Jeff is originally from Barre, Vermont and now lives on Peaks Island in Portland, Maine. Jeff has an extensive background in fundraising, marketing, and public relations. Jeff earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Communications from Saint Michael’s College and his Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Advanced Management from Champlain College. Jeff’s favorite boardsport is paddleboarding which he likes to do right around Peaks Island. His first CD was the Fleetwood Mac Rumors album.
rosetta Weber | director of programs
Rosetta, known as Zetty, is originally from Guilford, VT and currently splits her time between Burlington, VT and Victor, ID. With a background in outdoor/experiential education, Zetty holds a B.A. in Geography/Community & International Development from the UVM, and a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from Marlboro College. Favorite boardsport? Definitely a toss-up between snow and surf. Favorite place to ride? Jackson Hole, WY. Favorite place to surf? Short Sand Beach, Oregon. Zetty’s first CD? Ace of Base - The Sign.
stephanie yeatts | director of partnerships & risk management
Stephanie is from Detroit, MI and currently lives with her husband and daughter in Fort Collins, CO. She has over 12 years of experience in community engagement. Stephanie, a certified Project Manager, has a B.A. in Psychology with a focus on the impacts of therapeutic recreation on adolescence, and a B.S. in Public Relations. Her favorite boardsport is snowboarding, specifically in Snowmass, CO when the highway closes for too much snow. Her first tape was JJ Fad – Supersonic.
cara labounty | director of finance & operations
Cara is a born and raised Vermonter. She attended Champlain College in Burlington, VT with degrees in Accounting, Computer Programming & Management. While new to the world of snowboarding and skateboarding, she enjoys spending the summer months on the lake with her family. Her first vinyl was Def Leppard - Pyromania.
frances macallister | director of development
Frances, aka Franny, is originally from Western Mass and currently resides in Nelson, NH. She holds a BA in Art History from Smith College. Franny’s art history background launched her into the NYC art world scene, although she ultimately found her passion for non-profit fundraising through career steps in major museum and secondary school Development work. You can find her carving the slopes of Okemo (VT) most every winter weekend. First tape? Alanis Morissette – Jagged Little Pill.
ryan daudelin | events manager
Born and raised in Northern Illinois, Ryan headed west for his undergraduate studies and completed his masters in Australia. After settling in Chicago for a few years, Ryan moved to Vermont 4 years ago and resides in Waterbury, VT. Snowboarding is his favorite boardsport and Jay Peak is his favorite resort on the East Coast. Ryan’s first two CDs were the Beastie Boys – Licensed to Ill and AC/DC – Back in Black.

Michael, known as Mike, is from and currently resides in Chicago, Illinois. With a background in Business and Public Relations, Mike holds a B.S. in Communication from Indiana Wesleyan University. While slopes are limited in the Midwest, Mike prefers surf and skate, but loves to snowboard in Colorado. His favorite place to surf is Trestles Beach in San Clemente, CA. Mike's first CD? Lil Bow Wow - Beware of Dog.
lauren madden | marketing manager
Lauren is a born and raised Vermonter, having left for a few brief stints but always returning to the green mountains. She attended Champlain College in Burlington, VT with studies in Marketing and Communication, and has primarily worked in the world of hospitality and membership organizations. While new to the world of boardsports, she enjoys snowboarding at Stowe and SUPing in Vermont and the Adirondacks, where her family now calls home. Her first CD ever was Boys II Men – II.
elizabeth hanratty | grants manager
Elizabeth, a navy brat born in Elmira, NY, currently lives in Red Bank, NJ. After earning a BA in English/PoliSci from University of Scranton and an MS in Natural Resources from UNH, Elizabeth worked for a variety of nonprofits, her favorite being leading trips to Alaska and teaching environmental studies at a local community college. Favorite boardsport? SUPing on Lake Oquaga in the Catskills or the Navesink River in New Jersey. Elizabeth’s first vinyl: The Clash – Combat Rock.

Liz is originally from Deerfield, IL and currently lives in Chicago. With a background in Youth and Child Development and Youth Athletics, Liz holds a BS in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University. Liz is a certified Child Life Specialist having previous experience providing developmentally appropriate support and therapeutic play to pediatric patients and their families. Favorite Board sport: Snowboarding. Favorite place to ride? Anywhere the snow is. Liz’s First CD? Fastball: Best of Fastball.

Alistair is originally from Brantford, ON and currently resides in Toronto. With a background in Education, Alistair holds a B.A. in English from McMaster University, B.Ed from York University, and is certified by the Ontario College of Teachers. Favorite boardsport? Snowboarding. Favorite place to ride? His backyard, setting up a personal take on a riglet park each winter for his kids, and lift lines are never too long. Alistair’s first CD? Blink 182 – Enema of the State.
zack engler | program partnership manager
Zack is originally from Jay Peak, VT, and now calls the Burlington area home. He graduated from UVM with a B.S. in Environmental Studies, and has gained experience working and volunteering with other non-profit organizations in Vermont. Zack’s favorite things to do are to snowboard all around Vermont (and beyond), and to skateboard anywhere and everywhere possible. First CD ever bought: Now That’s What I Call Music Vol. 2 (still gold, go give it a listen).
mandi parkes | community & inclusion manager
Born in Toronto, ON, Mandi now lives in Vancouver, BC. Mandi has completed an Honors Bachelor of Science, HK, at the University of Ottawa, and a Sport & Event Marketing diploma at George Brown College. She is currently completing a Dialogue & Civic Engagement Certificate with SFU. Mandi has her CASI Level 1, and has been a certified instructor for the past 8 years. Though her passion for boardsports started with snowboarding, you can now find her shredding the waves and the skateparks too. First tape: Green Day – Dookie.
