About Chill Denver

Chill Denver was established in 2005 and since then, has served more than 1,000  youth across Colorado’s Front Range. Through our snowboard and skateboard programs, we teach important life lessons like Respect, Patience, Persistence, Courage, Responsibility, and Pride.

Chill Denver works with youth from low-income communities, juvenile justice, mental health, drug treatment, transitional housing, foster care, and after-school programs to overcome challenges they are facing in their everyday lives.

Chill Denver has just wrapped up our inaugural skate program this fall! We are so excited about this new program. With this expansion, Chill Denver will be able to reach more youth in the Denver metro area.

Our snow program is hosted at Loveland Ski Area. Our program runs for six weeks on Tuesday and Sundays starting the second week in January. We offer the program at no cost to the participants and provide everything needed to get out on the snow.

The Latest from Chill Denver

That's a wrap on snow season!

Thank you to everyone who came out Loveland for another awesome season getting Chill youth on boards. We couldn't do it without all your time support!

My future will be positive because I will take risks no matter how hard it looks, because practice is the key. Snowboarding is like math. It seems hard, but the more you practice the better you get at it.

Our Host Mountain

Loveland Ski Area

Chill Denver is stoked to partner with Loveland Ski Area again for the 2017 season!

We use our time on the ride up to the Loveland Ski Area to introduce the weekly theme through an activity, and reinforce the concept during our time on the mountain. This structure allows participants to make meaningful connections to the curriculum while experiencing the innate joy of snowboarding.
