Founded by Jake and Donna Carpenter of Burton Snowboards, Chill has served more than 30,000 participants in 20 locations across 9 countries since 1995. Chill’s programs pair a core value curriculum with the excitement of learning snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing, and paddleboarding to promote personal growth, connection to the outdoors, and an inclusive community to enjoy it with. Chill covers all costs and fosters strong alliances with social service agencies, schools, juvenile justice programs, youth agencies, and boardsport partners so youth can have as much fun as possible while learning new skills.

Giveaway Package

- You and a friend will be heading to Baldface Lodge for 2.5 days of snowcat riding.

- You and your guest will share a room with 2 XL Twin beds.
- Food
- A breakfast buffet and gourmet dinner are served daily in the lodge, as well as hot soup and hearty appetizers when you return from skiing. Sandwiches, snacks, and cold drinks are provided in the snowcats.
- Baldface Lodge’s terrain requires intermediate/advanced-level powder skills in tight trees. Do not enter the giveaway if you do not meet this criteria.
- Travel and lodging to and from Nelson, BC is NOT INCLUDED! You must pay for your travel to and from Nelson, BC.

The Mountains: Baldface Lodge is nestled in the sub-alpine region of the Selkirk Mountains at an elevation of 6,700 feet where guests experience a range of different riding during their stay. Our 32,000 acres of terrain includes open bowls, sustained steep forests, “God-gladed” mid-alpine tree sections, and natural terrain features like log drops and mini-pipe gullies.
A network of interconnected ridges enable our fleet of Pisten Bully 400’s to travel efficiently and safely from the sustained steep trees in the Cheeky Monkey region to the high alpine spines and gullies of Cherry Bowl, and all the way out to the previously burned forest-fire glades in the North Zone.
The Lodge:
- Dining: Mountain cuisine prepared from carefully selected purveyors of ethically raised and naturally grown ingredients from around the area and beyond. A 5-member team creates everything from fresh-baked breads, butchered and smoked bacon, and elegantly-plated masterpieces each night.
- Bar & Wine Cellar: Caesars, appies, and nightly specials set the stage for many a tale to be told after a day on the slopes. A carefully cultivated cellar offers a rich selection of wine from around the world. Nightly pairings selected by the head chef.
- Massage: Après and evening appointments with professional spa practitioners help guests make the most of their trip by targeting specific aches and pains, sore joints, and old injuries. Our therapists offer tips on specific stretches to quicken recovery time to prepare for another great day in the cat.
