We welcome donations of new or very gently used boardsports gear and outerwear for youth—such as snowboards, skateboards, surf equipment, helmets, jackets, and gloves. Our ability to receive items depends on the season and country.

Donate FAQ
Tax deductibility depends on your country and the specific Chill legal entity receiving your gift. We issue donation receipts for all gifts.
In Switzerland, donations to charitable organizations such as The Chill Foundation can usually be offset against tax up to 20% of the taxable income. You can claim your donations in your tax return for federal as well as cantonal tax purposes. The amount that can be offset against tax can differ, depending on the canton.
In Italy, donations to recognized non-profit foundations such as Chill Italia Foundazione ETS (Codice Fiscale: 96624080584) are generally tax-deductible within the limits established by Italian law. Individuals and companies can deduct or deduct a percentage of their donations depending on the applicable tax regime (art. 83 of Legislative Decree 117/2017, Codice del Terzo Settore).
In Germany, donations to charitable organizations such as Chill Germany gUG (haftungsbeschränkt) are tax-deductible according to § 10b of the German Income Tax Act (Einkommensteuergesetz). You can claim your donation in your German tax return. For donations up to 300 €, your bank statement serves as proof. For higher amounts, we will gladly provide an official donation receipt (Zuwendungsbestätigung) upon request. Please include your name, address, and email with your donation or email annelaurep@chill.org to receive your receipt.
Chill Austria is currently in the process of obtaining official recognition to make donations tax-deductible under Austrian law. In the meantime, all contributions directly support our youth programs in Austria and are gratefully acknowledged with a donation confirmation (Spendenbestätigung). If you would like to receive a confirmation for your records or be informed once tax deductibility is in place, please email annelaurep@chill.org.

Yes. Enter your donation amount on our Online Donation Forms above and select "Dedicate this donation” and you will be prompted to input the name you wish to honor or memorialize. You will then have the option to share a notification card with your honoree or the individual associated with your memorial gift.
