About Chill Salt Lake City

Chill Salt Lake City was established in 2003. Since our inaugural season, Chill SLC has served more than 1,000 youth across the Salt Lake Valley. Through these programs, we teach important life lessons like Respect, Patience, Persistence, Courage, Responsibility, and Pride.

Chill works with youth from low-income communities, juvenile justice, mental health, drug treatment, transitional housing, foster care, and after-school programs to overcome challenges they are facing in their everyday lives.

Chill SLC now runs program at Brighton Resort and Powder Mountain. Our program operates on Monday and Tuesday nights and lasts six weeks. The entire program is provided at no cost to the youth or agencies involved.

Chill SLC just wrapped our skate program at Crossroads Skatepark in Ogden, UT. It was a huge success and we can't wait to do it again next year!

The Latest from Chill Salt Lake City

that's a wrap on 2018/19 snow programs!

We wrapped up another great run at Brighton and Powder! Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make a difference for SLC area youth.

My most important life skill Chill taught me was to remind myself everyday that I can do it and never give up!

Our Host Mountain

Brighton Resort & Powder Mountain

Chill Salt Lake City is stoked to partner with Brighton Resort and Powder Mountain!

We use our time on the ride up to the mountain to introduce that day’s core value through an activity, and reinforce the concept during our time on the mountain. This structure allows participants to make meaningful connections to the curriculum while experiencing the innate joy of snowboarding.
